Most prefer rap and pop. But the neighboring towns have a great underground scene. I’m pretty sure you’re based in the UK so I don’t know if this means anything to you but my area is in New Jersey (the New Brunswick, Newark, Clark, Linden etc. area, where bands like My Chemical Romance and the Misfits originated. Would driving back and forth to like-minded music fans be worth it? Considering gas prices going back and forth, food etc..
